Richard Hill is the silent player but is every bit as important to England as Jonny Wilkinson.
Much of his work goes largely unnoticed, but Richard never has a poor game for England and his abrasive style of play has earned him the reputation as one of the world´s best forwards.
Always willing to graft and never afraid to get involved at the sharp end, his World Cup campaign was very nearly ruined by injury. But his hamstring strain eased at the right time, allowing him to play in both the semi-final and the final at Sydney´s Telstra Dome.
