Phil's strong sporting background as a former top class welsh rugby player with Newport RFC in the 1980s, together with his role as a radio presenter and sports commentator for BBC Wales and Radio Telefis Eireann have enabled him to develop a wide variety of material.

Remarkably, Phil combines his speaking career and broadcasting work with his occupation as a part-time teacher of children with learning difficulties in The Rhymney Valley of South Wales.
