Mike was at the ultimate professional throughout the entire length of his career. Joining Bath straight from school in1997, he enjoyed seventeen years in the sport with Bath RFC and Gloucester RFC, making over 250 premiership appearances.
He made his debut for England in 2000 alongside Mike Catt against Ireland at Twickenham and cemented his position in the team from there on after gaining 75 caps for his country and was a member of the English squad which won the 2003 World Cup.
A great character both on and off the field he enjoyed a tremendous career and of course he is also a member of the royal family.
